Cet album est le fruit de la collaboration entre DLGHT, architecte/compositeur parisien et PEOW BEOW auteur/compositeur
montreuillois entamée en 2015.
SOURCE est un composé de six morceaux sélectionnés parmi leurs nombreuses improvisations. Re-sculptés et parfois polis ces
morceaux brutes allant du beat lofi samplé jusqu’à des soundscapes électroniques abstraits où se côtoient trap, grime et footwork
y sont assemblés pour raconter une période créative et esthétique. Sample de bossa nova, synthétiseur, drum machines,
saxophone jazzy, sound-fishing sont autant d’outils utilisés pour parler de la SOURCE, le commencement d’une longue et active
collaboration.
Délibérément experimental, Source est un laboratoire pour les deux compositeurs qui naviguent entre les styles, détruisent et
reconstruisent les codes créatifs de leurs projets respectifs.
This album come from the collaboration between DLGHT, architect/composer and PEOW BEOW author/composer respectivly
from Paris and Montreuil, France.
SOURCE is composed of six tracks selected from lot of improvisations they made together circa 2015. Sculpted sometimes
polished those brut pieces going from sampled-based lo-fi beat to abstract electronic soundscapes were assembled to tell about
this creative periode. Bossa Nova sample, synthesizers, drum machines, jazzy saxophone and sound-fishing are some of the
medium use to talk about SOURCE, the begining of a long and active collaboration.
Deliberatly experimental, SOURCE is a laboratory used by the two composers to destroy and rebuild the creative codes and
limitations of thier respective projets.
